This continuing story of a group of friends meeting challenges and celebrating successes resonates with the real world. I have begun to feel like a member of the group as I continue reading this series and look forward to the the next book.
It was ok. Had nothing else to read therefore the 3 stars. Glad it was over, not very interesting. The first book was the best so far.
Fun and enjoyable reading. Characters are interesting and each different and am able to pick up on book I read before it , which doesn't always happen right away when ready a series. I really like the idea of the women's friendships through the years.
I started with the first book in this prime time series; would suggest doing that in order to understand Anna's pass life. I enjoy reading about an older woman who has settled into a hum-drum life style, being able to find a reason for hope and zeal and happiness late in life.
It’s nice to read these books and find out what actually happened all the characters. I’m looking forward to the next book
I enjoyed the visit to Egypt and the details. Makes me want to visit there. I love the international flare in the series. I do find the woman characters well developed but the men all except Nigel seem distant at first. I have enjoyed the increased development of Phillips character in this book. As Anna's friends get married I fear she will be the only unmarried Samba member.
1-6 years and lots of things happen to all the main characters but there is not explanation. I just don't understand the concept of leaving out years and explanations of main characters dying, getting married to someone who never dated in the previous book, weird. She needs a really good editor
